Brother, I am posting this on Tumblr in the hopes that you check this account, at least. You seem to have turned off you ‘ask box’.
I have been trying to contact you about our gift to the Allfather for a month’s time. I sent many electronic missives, as well as writing on your facebook…
Brother,
1. I was unaware that I had a father that I needed to buy a gift for. If I did,
2. I do not think any father of mine would care for these foolish Midgaardian holy days. Even if he did wish to celebrate it,
3. I would find a more inventive, personalized, and touching gift than the atrocious piece of fashion drivel they call a neck tie. Perhaps a nice, tasteful scarf.
Do not take Fathers Day lightly, Brother. Of course we must gift our father with something. As deities of this realm, it is our duty to honor their Holy Days as our own. If we do not set an example of filial respect, who will?
I was informed that neckties are traditional, but if you think he would prefer a scarf, that may be acceptable. I will ask my comrades. Mother suggested cloth-of-gold brocade, but that does not seem to be as fashionable here as it was several centuries ago.
(Also, I was not going to mention it, but if you need funds to help with other Father’s Day gifts, I can contribute some money. Shipping to Jotunheim being what it is…)

I have been trying to contact you about our gift to the Allfather for a month’s time. I sent many electronic missives, as well as writing on your facebook ‘wall’. I have also recorded messages when you failed to answer your mobile telephone. Tony Stark has assured me that you are aware that I am trying to reach you, so I imagine that you have already read my ‘emails’ and ‘text messages’ and listened to my ‘voice mails’.
I hoped that you would respond, but I know you are busy doing… whatever it is that you are doing these days.
I thought you would at least take time to do the task I assigned you, but it seems that Father has not received the gift I asked you to chose for him. I know that you are much more knowledgable in Midgardian fashions, and I thought you would be better able to select a nice ‘neck tie’ for the occasion.
I am disappointed, Loki.

My comrades in SHIELD often ask if I have chosen a favorite yet, but this is very difficult. They are all delicious in their own unique ways!
Thor, I do not remember sending you to Midgard to gorge yourself on human delicacies. Have you become so gluttonous, to selfishly preoccupy yourself without thinking of your duties?
Father, you do not understand! This is not a simple dicotommy dichot question of protecting Midgard or eating poptarts. It is the custom here to eat poptarts while fighting to avoid skipping a meal.
